“it’s not like they wear heels to go to the shops”…. don’t they? or when a 13 year old bought a pair of heels from my work 3 days ago, she told me herself she wears them everywhere? i only know this because i went out of my way to ask where on earth someone of her age would wear heels, her exact answer was “everywhere, the mall, concerts, parties”. i’m 20 and i rarely wear heels. oh yeah, and i had a mother come into my work on the same day and return a pair of massive heels because her 12 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER came home with them, and i pretty much got blamed for it because i sold them to her, but it’s not like i could say um no you aren’t allowed to buy those, so this kind of effects me directly. if you think a 13 year old girl wearing huge heels and short dresses seems totally acceptable, then you probably need some kind of reality check. i myself didn’t even start wearing makeup until i was 15/16 and my first pair of heels was purchased for my year 10 formal and they were an inch high. i’m not saying that young girls who wear heels and dresses are sluts because that isn’t true, so don’t get the wrong idea. i just think they look fucking ridiculous and most people who are of a mature age would probably agree with me.
